What if he has to face the SUPER GIANTS of Real Madrid? What if he knows that the battle is already lost? What if he knows that Real Madrid usually humiliates their opponents in Santiago Bernabeu?

He does know it all. And he also knows that any score against his little team APOEL is possible. But he DOES NOT fear them. He even asks for an improved offensive behaviour from his players. Not defensive, but offensive.

This is Ivan Jovanovic. And this is his attitude, and his philosophy.

Some might say that he is bold in asking for improved offensive behaviour in Santiago Bernabeu, against Real Madrid. But those who know the man well, they know that he is a low profile guy, humble and realistic, but also ambitious and confident. And he manages to balance all the above in an excellent way.

This is Ivan Jovanovic. The coach who built this team, the coach who put together a clan of talented boys, none of them a football star, and managed to lead them to the stars. The coach who planted confidence and a winner psychology in them, who taught them to fight ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE.

Yes, Real Madrid may score any number of goals tomorrow. They may humiliate APOEL and Ivan Jovanovic. They may turn the dream into a nightmare.

But they CANNOT erase history. 

And history this season has been written by Ivan Jovanovic and his little team APOEL. Not by Real Madrid.
